Thursday August 2nd
Yesterday we were visited by an angel of the Lord. When I came home to find a brown paper bag on my front porch. My first inclination was to throw it away, but thank God I took it inside and looked in it. Praise God! There was a unexpected financial blessing. No note, no indication of where it came from but please know whoever you are that we are so appreciative. We are speechless, except that I had to write something on the blog! Yes times are hard and the future is still not clear, but God never ceases to amaze us with his love and grace. Our family all over has just proved again and again that the love of God and the love of his people makes everything (EVERYTHING) all right! Especially because God already knew the things he had planned for us, good and bad and he already had a plan for taking us through! Our prayer is that as God takes us through, as he burns off the dross, we will come forth as pure gold, not just for our sakes, but for Gods’ glory!

I am not at all surprised you were visited by an angel of the Lord no family deserves it more. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. Wishing you all the best.
If, there is ANYTHING I can do be sure and let me know, it sounds like you have plenty of friends and family surrounding and supporting you but know that I am here!

I am so happy that you received a financial blessing, to accompany the numerous ones that you’ve already gotten. I know that things will begin to look up as the days, weeks and months go by. Know that prayers from Chi-Town (aka Chicago) are being sent your way (daily). I’m a close friend of Sheryl and Gwen who have not had the pleasure of meeting both Freddie and Michael, personally…but in love and spirit. I will continue to hold you all in prayer and love.
Take Care!
Hi Frederick,
We’re so glad that you/ve regained some mobility and are able to get around your house better. That must be great encouragement!
It was so good to see you a couple of weeks ago, when Kathy Barker & I came to visit. it sounds like Erika is doing a great job helping and being your companion. Nice job, Erika - we’re proud of you.
We’re headed to California next week for a mini family reunion with Jeff’s sister (who lives there) and his brother and family (who are coming from Indianapolis). They both have young children, so we will probably come home all worn out, sort of like you feel after a day at EA!
Cami has been asking about you, so maybe we could bring her on a Saturday to say hi. She’ll probably wear you out in about 5 minutes with all her restless energy, so may it wouldn’t be a good idea! I’ll give you a call and we’ll work something out.
In the meantime, take care of yourself and feel God’s healing hand upon yoiur body and soul. We’re praying for you everyday…
Love,
Jeff & Linda
