What a great day. The sun is shining and the Lord continues to bless. We had church service outdoors today. It was a part of what we call Impact Sunday. Every 5th Sunday we do a short service indoors and then we spend the rest of the service in the community taking the word to the people. Today we set-up the praise team on the property behind the health center next door to the church. So we rocked the hood in the sunshine. What fun! I played giuatr all afternoon before heading home. I don’t know if it was the heat or my meds again, but I got sick shortly before we left the parking lot. But I still praise the Lord for the blessed day I’m having. It was all worth it, ’cause two people in the community came to the Lord accepting Christ! That’s what it’s all about.

I’m feeling much better now, thank God.

I’m relaxing at home right now getting ready to work on some music. It’s such a blessed day to get a tune done. Maybe I’ll lay a track of what the band played today when the praise team was done. When the last tune ended we just started jamming and had a real nice groove going, I even sang a little. Of course it wasn’t recorded so I can’t rememer all of it, but the main parts of it I think I can play again. I was feeling it thank God.

It was a blessing to see all the young people in the community enoying thier selves. We had a couple of big bouncy toys for the kids to jump around on. Of course there was food, and everyone loves to eat. You can see the lot from the streets and it’s usually empty, so to see it full of folks having fun drew a crowd in no time. I’d say the lot was packed and folks were having a great time. It was fun to be ministring in a different way, being right in the community.
